What better way to get back to work a month after having a baby than to make 5 paintings based on Shel Silverstein's book The Giving Tree?  Most of these ended up in nurseries or as baby shower gifts which I found very apropo.  It was also a great help to my fledgling little family!  So here is me showing off the paintings alongside my greatest creation, my son Peter, on West Cliff Dr in Santa Cruz CA before they got personalized and shipped off to their new homes.
