Cate the Great is a dear friend of mine.  She commissioned me to do a portrait of her and her boyfriend.  The picture is from a wedding they attended, a candid and sweet moment on the dancefloor.  She's a writer, a dreamer, and a lover, and I couldn't help but add in a surreal portrait of her a surprise!  She said the one of her and her boyfriend made her tear up, and the other one made her laugh!  It includes a bible verse that says "weeping may endure for the night but JOY comes in the morning."  There is a weeping willow tree, a wolf-mane, tiny cat prints, peacock feather, a heart-home, and an ocean wave.  Anyway, I hope they both bring magic to the present moment for a long time coming.
